Welcome to Roberttown Community Centre Pre-School.

Roberttown Community Centre Pre-School is a registered charity whose play group, play school and nursery facilities provide a caring inclusive environment for children from two and a quarter years old to joining primary school.

Children who attend Roberttown play group are typically from Roberttown, Hartshead, Norristhorpe, Hightown and Liversedge and it's surrounding areas and usually children who attend our pre school go on to schools such as Roberttown Junior and Infants 1st School, Hartshead Junior and Infants 1st School, Norristhorpe Junior and Infants 1st School and Hightown 1st and Nursery School.

Our philosophy of child-centeredness and "Learning through Play" is at the heart of everything we plan for the children and supports them to learn in their own way, at their own pace.

We nurture each child's individuality, promoting self-respect and encouraging self-discipline. We encourage the children to value and explore the similarities and differences between themselves and others. Our broad and balanced curriculum offers each child equal opportunities to access a wide range of hands-on, relevant experiences.
